CarConnect provides a platform that connects vehicle owners ("Partners") with individuals seeking to rent vehicles ("Users"). We facilitate the booking process, payment processing, and provide support services, but we are not a party to the rental agreement between Partners and Users.

3. User Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license (for self-drive rentals)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

5.3 Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary depending on the Partner and the specific booking. Please review the cancellation policy before confirming your booking. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy.

6. Partner Responsibilities

Partners who list vehicles on our platform agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete vehicle information
• Maintain vehicles in safe and roadworthy condition
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Carry appropriate insurance coverage
• Respond promptly to booking requests and inquiries
• Honor confirmed bookings and provide the vehicle as described

7. User Responsibilities

Users who rent vehicles through our platform agree to:

• Use the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with the rental agreement
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
• Return the vehicle in the same condition as received (excluding normal wear and tear)
• Report any accidents, damage, or mechanical issues immediately
• Not use the vehicle for illegal activities or purposes prohibited by the rental agreement
• Pay for any additional charges, fines, or damages incurred during the rental period

8. Insurance and Liability

CarConnect provides limited protection plans, but Users are responsible for understanding the coverage and limitations. Partners are required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage for their vehicles. CarConnect is not liable for any accidents, damages, or losses that occur during the rental period.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Violating any laws or regulations
• Infringing upon the rights of others
• Providing false or misleading information
• Interfering with or disrupting our Services
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Using our Services for any fraudulent or illegal purpose

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of CarConnect and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Services at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarConnect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our Services.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
